I like your list. Any L.M. Montgomery book gets a yea vote from me. I didn't know Emily Dickenson was from Canada. The book Lost in the Barrens is fantastic. But Why Beethoven?
ReplyDeleteHi Kate. Although most of the subjects are Canadian subjects, not all are... but all the authors are Canadian Authors. So Emily Dickenson and Beethoven are not Canadian... but the authors that wrote the books about them listed above where Canadian.
ReplyDeleteI hope that clears that up a bit... Thanks for the question!
Thank you so much for sharing your hard work and book selections for Canadian history. I am frequently looking over your lists. what is your opinion of Donna Wards story books?

I am glad that you are finding my selections helpful.
ReplyDeleteI have only looked at depth at one Donna Ward's books, and looked at the online samples of a couple more... and they seemed a little to text-bookish to me. But I know a lot of people like them a lot. It is possible that I've only seen one style of her books too.
